The Tank Museum have teamed up with 3D Gizmo to bring the only Tank Museum approved 3D printed Matilda I model kit available.
Designed by John Carden in 1935, the A11 Matilda I was the British Army’s first Infantry Tank with 139 being produced. Lightly armed, but heavily armoured, 58 of the two-man Matilda Is were deployed by the RTR against Rommel’s 7th Panzer Division at the Battle of Arras, France, May 21st 1940.
The 1/35 model is fully 3D printed in resin and comes with a 1 piece hull, 1 piece highly detailed left & right running gear & track assembly's along with an assortment of vehicle fittings. The 1 piece printed turret faithfully represents the shape of the real thing & the hatches can be posed open or closed.
