The Story

During World War II, the German infantry was the backbone of the Wehrmacht, taking part in battles on all fronts - from Western Europe to Russia and Africa. Infantry soldiers were the basic land force, responsible for conquering cities, defending positions and conducting combat operations in the field. Their standard equipment included rifles, submachine guns, grenades and bayonets.

Helmet: Model M35, made of hardened steel, providing exceptional protection in combat conditions.

Cap: Bergmütze, a mountain cap with an edelweiss print typical of mountain riflemen, sometimes also called a ski cap or grey cap in Germany, is a headgear derived from Austrian military tradition.

Weapon: The Mauser Kar98k is a German bolt-action rifle that was the standard small arms weapon of the Wehrmacht during World War II.
