The turret was not armored from above, the crew was protected from this side only by a protective net against grenades and light shrapnel.

With a maximum speed of 80 km/h and four-wheel drive, this vehicle was excellent for off-road maneuvers. Although its armor was modest, it provided basic protection for the crew.
